Our first Little Free Library

Our first Little Free Library (LFL) was dedicated on Monday, June 26th at East Side Acres on Bates St. in Sanford. Kids from the neighborhood did a marvelous job painting the LFL which was constructed by Sanford Rotarian, Neal Meltzer. Shawn Babine (literacy chair), Barbara Sutcliffe (president), Lawrence Furbish (community service chair) Jackie McDougal (Goodall Library director) and Bill Keefer (Sanford Housing Authority director) participated in the dedication. Rotary and the Goodall Library are planning to build and place more LFLs in the Sanford area. Keep an eye out for one in your neighborhood!
